ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION & HANDS-ON GREEN SKILLS

Goal:
To instill environmental values and equip students with practical skills that support household sustainability and income generation.

Our Interventions:

  • Establishing eco-clubs with structured environmental learning activities
  • Practical training in:
    • Briquette making – reducing reliance on charcoal and deforestation
    • Backyard gardening – promoting organic farming and improved household nutrition
  • Hosting inter-school green innovation competitions and exhibitions

2030 Targets:
100 schools implementing environmental education and practical training
60,000 students and 1,000 teachers empowered with climate-smart knowledge
1,000 briquette makers and 2,000 backyard gardens established at household level

Why This Matters:
Equipping students with real-life sustainability skills creates change makers who take action at home and in their communities hence multiplying impact across generations.
